Welcome to the new DECADE...

Before we ring in the New Year, let’s take a look back at this edit filmed roughly a decade ago, for some good old trout fishing amongst friends. Those were surely the days. . . marked by the singular, simple, uncompromising motivation of: fly fishing as much as humanly possible. Cheers.

Here it is! Our film from last year. This was filmed on a bout ten different Montana rivers, and it's pretty much just a bunch of friends having as much fun fishing as we possibly can. Enjoy! Music by the John Butler Trio, SOJA, Rebelution, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and the Foo Fighters.


Simple is Better

When did we stop respecting the fish in our own backyards? When did far-flung destinations that none of us can actually afford become our wallpaper? These French Canadians are pretty darn rad. We have screened a few of their films over the years as part of the film fest traveling road show. Crack a beer, maybe a session ale of sorts, its a school night, and enjoy this edit. The week is downhill from here!

BIG FOOT/hump day or "Harry and the Hendricksons”

IF you swing flies for coastal Steelhead in the lower 48 or you have ever hunted the one, big, brown trout all fall; throwing big ol’ streamers no matter what, even in the face of your compadres giggling as they set the hook on the umpteenth nice-but-not-what-you’re-looking-for fish then you get it. Like Big Foot, you gotta believe, and that is usually built on some previous occasions for hope.

While out filming Ronnie Roseman playing some of his songs, a passerby heard us mention the word "bigfoot" and had a great story to share.

It's the friggggin weekend people!

Maybe you are heading up into the mountains for early turns or heading out to mostly still flowing rivers and streams to scrape one last trout mission together. Either way, enjoy this group of friends *legally targeting Bull Trout way up “North”. Their fishy Southern cousins are protected in Montana under the threatened species designation. Look for this full episode online in the coming weeks through various outlets.
